Boeing turns to Indian IT for its 787 DreamLiner
Boeing on Tuesday announced a multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement with HCL Technologies to develop software for its new 787 Dreamliner. HCL-T will develop a hosting platform for the flight test computing system and provide software services to many of the 787 systems partners, it said.

The Chicago-based Boeing has also signed a strategic deal with Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore for research in aerospace materials, structures and manufacturing technologies. Recent win from Ferrari and now from Boeing speaks for themselves what Indian techies can offer to the world and shut those voices which dub India as a mere low-end technology services provider.
