New trend or just a coincidence, stumbled upon these two Training style Presentations that got an upgrade of their own, in the format of a TV reality show. 1. I am little surprised that 37signals buys online ads. Here is what I found on New York Times. And another surprise is that the Ad don’t even mention 37signals at all. Hmm?

The Talk: Marketing by Sharing Jason Fried is the co-founder and President of 37signals, a privately-held Chicago-based company committed to building the best web-based tools possible with the least number of features necessary. 37signals' products include Basecamp, Highrise, Backpack, Campfire, Ta-da List, and Writeboard. 37signals also developed and open-sourced the Ruby on Rails programming framework. 37signals' products do less than the competition - intentionally. Jason believes there's real value and beauty in the basics. Elegance, respect for people's desire to simply get stuff done, and honest ease of use are the hallmarks of 37signals products.

I am a big fan of 37signals and ‘ getting real ’. But don’t understand why it took so long for 37signals to add this simple yet quite useful piece of functionality to their blog.   We’ve added “Newer posts | Older posts” links to Signal vs. Noise so you can page through posts without using the archives. (Scroll down to the end of 37signals.com/svn to find link for the next page of posts.) This allows visitors to read the backlog with minimal clicking as opposed to having to select individual posts in the archives .

With google gmail tasks now available on iPhone, it's time to bid adieu to 37signals' tadalist. Gmail tasks app is little better than tadalist. But the real reason for the switch is tadalist is a silo app, where as tasks is integrated into gmail and so you can access it with single sign on along with whole bunch of other apps I am already using. With this, I have replaced yet another silo app in preference to an app from google family.
